Je me le demande bien souvent aussi… plaisanterie de côté, je suis fascinée par le tarot, l’art, la mystique, l’ésotérisme, l’occultisme et l’esthétique.
I do often wonder… Joking aside, I am fascinated by tarot, art, mysticism, esotericism, occultism and philosophy.
Mon parcours m’a menée à travers des études d’art plastiques, d’histoire de l’art et l’esthétique (ma matière de cœur) dans laquelle j’ai fait un doctorat. Contrairement à ce qu’on pourrait penser, je ne me revendique pourtant pas universitaire mais bien plus proche de la poésie, d’une pensée sensible où l’enjeu d’écriture est poïétique, un enjeu de création pour être au plus proche de sa sensibilité. Écrire sur le tarot n’est donc pas trouver l’articulation la plus juste d’une signification, mais un chemin qui tisse un sens. On puise dans les significations comme d’un puits commun afin d’en affiner, adapter et rendre vivant les arcanes. Cette vie avec les Arcanes leur donne la portée symbolique, leur magie et l’indicible qui les habite. Jamais leurs paroles seront épuisées. Donc ce blog se construit au fur et à mesure de ma vie, de rencontres, de prises de conscience, d’inspirations…au gré des événements. Donc ne comptez pas trouver une histoire du tarot ou encore un manuel d’apprentissage. Ici, je souhaite écrire l’expérience avec le tarot et la partager, rien d’autre.
My journey has taken me through studies in fine arts, art history and aesthetics (my subject of heart) in which I obtained a PhD. Contrary to what one might think, I do not claim to be an academic, but rather someone closer to poetry, to a sensitive way of thinking where the challenge of writing is poietic, a challenge of creation in order to be as close as possible to one’s sensibility. Writing about tarot is therefore not about finding the most accurate articulation of a meaning, but a path that weaves meaning. We draw on meanings as if from a common well in order to refine, adapt and bring the Arcana to life. This life with the Arcana gives them their symbolic range, their magic and the indescribable quality that inhabits them. Their words will never be drained. So this blog is built up as my life progresses, through encounters, realisations, inspirations… as events unfold. So don’t expect to find a history of tarot or a learning manual here. My aim is simply to write about my experience with tarot and share it, nothing more.
C’est une liberté d’écriture que je retrouve et recouvre dans ce blog. Pour certains l’approche très personnelle, mystique et ésotérique sera repoussante, pour d’autres au contraire intéressante. Lisez à votre guise ; j’espère juste partager des choses importantes et qui ont un sens porteur sur mon, et probablement, nos chemins de vie.
It is a freedom of writing that I rediscover in a recovering way in this blog. For some, the very personal, mystical and esoteric approach will be off-putting, while for others it will be interesting. Read at your leisure; I just hope to share things that are important and meaningful on my, and probably our, paths through life.
