Ce blog est dédié au tarot et plus précisément à la pratique contemplative et méditative de celui-ci. J’entends par là toute l’expérience qui précède la divination, la vision ou sentience de l’avenir. Avoir en premier lieu une vision claire du présent qui nous traverse est primordiale à un rapport sain à la divination. La vision du présent devient, à mon avis, même plus importante et permet de lâcher prise sur une peur de l’avenir qui anime bien souvent les consultant/e/s. Trouver de la sécurité dans l’ici et maintenant, son pouvoir d’agir, sa clarté d’esprit, évite de projeter ses angoisses dans la vision d’un futur qui n’est qu’illusion et ne reflète qu’un état d’être sous l’emprise de la peur.
This blog is dedicated to tarot and, more specifically, to its contemplativeand meditative practice. By this, I mean the entire experience that precedes divination, the vision or sentience of the future. Having a clear vision of the present moment is essential to a healthy relationship with divination. In my opinion, the vision of the present becomes even more important and allows us to let go of the fear of the future that often drives those who seek guidance. Finding security in the here and now, in one’s power to act and clarity of mind, prevents us from projecting our anxieties into a vision of the future that is nothing but an illusion and reflects only a state of being under the grip of fear.
Depuis que j’ai 13 ans, je tire les cartes et j’ai appris avec le Thoth Tarot créé par Aleister Crowley et Lady Frieda Harris. Il n’est pas des plus faciles à apprivoiser, donc j’ai dû me laisser apprivoiser par lui… quel chemin! Un cheminement initiatique, d’écoute de soi dans le reflet de traditions ésotériques, mais en premier lieu dans le miroir de cet art de Lady Harris qui touche directement à quelque chose d’indiciblement essentiel. Bien d’autres tarots m’ont par la suite tant enrichie et inspirée. Si la création d’un tarot est un art que je qualifierais d’alchimique, de mariage entre soi et le plus grand que soi (pour être audacieusement brève), chaque cheminement allant dans ce sens nous apprend la rencontre du Monde d’une façon différente. Ces différences sont fascinantes, belles et parfois même sublimes. Ces mondes dans notre Monde ouvrent la vision et le regard s’élargit. Le sens de notre vécu s’affine, raisonne et résonne jusqu’à ce qu’on trouve l’accord qui nous manque. L’art et le tarot vont ensemble et par « art » j’entends tous les arts plastiques, littéraires, artisanaux et bien-sûr magiques. Le tarot a toujours été un art synesthésique pour moi où le visuel se mélange au goût d’un mot, le rythme d’une suite de cartes à l’odeur d’une présence, le toucher d’une carte à l’émergence d’une ambiance.
I have been reading cards since I was 13 years old and learned with the Thoth Tarot created by Aleister Crowley and Lady Frieda Harris. It is not the easiest to master, so I had to let myself be mastered by it… what a journey! It was a journey of initiation, of listening to myself in the reflection of esoteric traditions, but first and foremost in the mirror of Lady Harris’ art, which touches directly on something indescribably essential. Many other tarot decks have since enriched and inspired me. If the creation of a tarot deck is an art that I would describe as alchemical, a marriage between oneself and something greater than oneself (to put it boldly and briefly), each journey in this direction teaches us to encounter the World in a multitude of ways. These differences are fascinating, beautiful and sometimes even sublime. These worlds within our World open our vision and broaden our gaze. The meaning of our experience becomes more refined, resonates and echoes until we find the harmony we are missing. Art and tarot go hand in hand, and by ‘art’ I mean all the visual, literary, craft and, of course, magical arts. Tarot has always been a synesthetic art for me, where the visual blends with the taste of a word, the rhythm of a sequence of cards with the scent of a presence, the touch of a card with the emergence of an atmosphere.
Ainsi, ce blog s’adresse à tout un chacun qui est fasciné par le tarot, chemine avec lui (que ce soit cartomancien/ne et/ou consultant/e) et souhaite non seulement savoir mais surtout penser et sentir davantage les symboliques possibles qui l’habitent.
This blog is therefore aimed at anyone who is fascinated by tarot, works with it (whether as a card reader and/or consultant) and wants not only to learn about it, but above all to reflect about it and feel more deeply the possible symbolism it embodies.
